Please give us 24 hours notice for any cancellations; you can leave a message on our answering machine after hours and on weekends. Thank you for considering our office to treat your skin, hair, or nail condition, whether it be a blemish, a growth, or a rash. Dr. Van Dyke enjoys treating the routine skin diseases as well as performing skin cancer surgery and a limited number of cosmetic procedures. Our goal is to treat most dermatologic conditions experienced by patients, and know where to refer those who require even more specialized care. Dr. Van Dyke is a California native, born at Stanford hospital. He is the son of a Stanford engineer and grew up with his sister and two identical triplet brothers on the Stanford campus. After attending Yale University, UCLA medical school, and attending the Univ. of Colorado for a medicine internship he completed a dermatology residency at Emory University in 1999. He then returned to the Bay Area to work at Kaiser, Santa Clara for one year before "fleeing" the congestion. He then spent the next four years filling in for other doctors and practices (i.e. locum tenens). in a variety of geographic and clinical settings. He and his wife, Lily Jamm, eventually discovered Redding, and have been practicing medicine and raising a family in Redding since 2003. We hope this web site provides anyone who may be interested with some additional information about Dr. Van Dyke's training, interests, and personal background. We have also included examples of the scope of medical and surgical procedures in which Dr. Van Dyke has experience. Patient comments:
